Lab Technician – Tulsa, OK (4am-noon shift)
Summary: Responsible for analytical testing of raw materials, batch material and finished products to ensure company, ISO and customer standards.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
• Perform routine and non-routine tests and analyses using the appropriate technical equipment and instruments.
• Receive or collect and process samples.
• Calculate test results, log and report results.
• Perform quality control testing and calibrate equipment.
• Maintain equipment in proper working order and maintain a clean work area.
• Manage and maintain lab consumable stock.
• Practice safe work habits, including complying with all safety, health, and environmental rules and regulations
Qualifications: Associate or degree in science, chemistry or related field, plus three (3) years experience in quality assurance in the manufacturing field, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Knowledge in manufacturing operations, quality assurance testing, testing laboratories and method validation. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP software. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Strong critical thinking and negotiation skills. Strong planning and organizational skills. Ability to work independently.

Physical / Mental Requirements: Must be able to work in excess of eight (8) hours per day and five (5) days per week, if required. Must be able to work on feet all day and be able to lift 50 lbs. Must demonstrate interpersonal and organizational skills to effectively interact with co-workers, management, and external vendors and customers.
